Kwun Tong North is primarily characterized by estate shopping malls and local shops for daily necessities. For a broader shopping experience, residents can visit Kwun Tong Town Centre, offering a variety of consumer choices. In terms of transportation, most residents of Kwun Tong North rely on buses or minibusses to reach Kwun Tong Station for MTR connections.

The majority of residential buildings in the area are concentrated on the hillsides, offering lush green views. Private residences in this area include Fu Wah Court, Good View Court, Hipway Towers, and Hong Ning Court. Several bus and minibus routes nearby provide convenient transportation to the city center. Additionally, there are public housing estates like Hiu Lai Court and Shun Chi Court in the vicinity.
