Neighbourhood Features
Nam Sang Wai is situated to the east of Wang Chau in Yuen Long, surrounded by the Kam Tin River and Shan Pui River, making it a habitat for numerous plants and bird species. Due to its abundant greenery and river views, it frequently attracts visitors from outside the area. One particularly famous tourist spot is the ferry pier, where residents must take the small ferry to cross the Shan Pui River.
Life amenities in Nam Sang Wai are somewhat limited. Residents can take buses or mini buses to Yuen Long town center, where a variety of restaurants and shops cater to their daily and entertainment needs. In terms of transportation, residents need to travel to Yuen Long town center first and then transfer to other modes of transportation to reach various areas in Hong Kong.
Residential Distribution
Residential developments in the area are generally scattered throughout Nam Sang Wai. Among them, Fairview Park and Palm Springs are the largest private residential developments, surrounded by smaller housing estates such as Villa Camellia, Royal Palms, Helene Terrace, and Greenery Gardens.
