Tai Hang

Welcome to Tai Hang

Neighbourhood Features

Located to the south of Causeway Bay and to the north of Happy Valley, Tai Hang is a traditional upscale residential area characterized by its higher elevation, low building density, and serene environment. Originally a village with a history of over a century, Tai Hang still retains many traditional customs, including the annual fire dragon dance during the Mid-Autumn Festival, which remains a significant local event for residents.

In recent years, the development of high-density residential projects in the Tai Hang Road area has led to an increase in the local population. Consequently, numerous cafes, specialty restaurants, and small shops have also established themselves in Tai Hang, providing residents with a diverse range of consumer choices.

Tai Hang benefits from its balance between tranquility and vibrancy, with a walking distance of just over 10 minutes to the bustling commercial area of Causeway Bay. The area is surrounded by prominent shopping malls, including Times Square, Hysan Place, and Lee Gardens, offering a diverse shopping experience.

In terms of transportation, it takes just over 10 minutes to walk to Causeway Bay Station and Tin Hau Station. Moreover, the Tai Hang Road area is served by several bus and minibus routes, connecting to various locations across Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.

Residential Distribution

Residential properties are primarily built along the hills, in close proximity to the Tai Tam Country Park and Tai Hang Road. The hilltop primarily features low-density luxury residential areas, including names like The Legend, Trafalgar Court, Aurizon, Bellevue Heights, Dragon Court, Dragon Garden, Flora Garden, Jardine Summit, Ronsdale Garden, Tai Hang Terrace, and The Signature, among others. Some of these residences offer panoramic views of the Happy Valley to the Mount Parker area.

Further down the hill, there are older private buildings, including 5, Wang Fung Terrace, C.C. Lodge, Carnation Court, Grand Deco Tower, Harmony Court, Jolly Villa, Lee Hang Court, Mayflower Mansion, Scenic Lodge, Swiss Towers, and Y.I. These properties are mostly standalone buildings or small-scale estates.
