Neighbourhood Features
Yau Kom Tau is located in the western part of the Tsuen Wan District in the New Territories, between Tsuen Wan and Ting Kau. The area got its name from the abundance of pomelo trees in the past. Originally a gathering place for traditional villages, including Yau Kom Tau Village, Hon Man Village, and Kin Tak New Village, the area also features a significant amount of green spaces. In recent years, there has been gradual planning and development of private residential projects.
Yau Kom Tau offers a serene environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If residents need to shop, they can take estate shuttle buses to Tsuen Wan city center, where numerous large shopping malls offer a wide range of daily necessities. Residents can also travel to other areas by transferring to various transportation options in Tsuen Wan.
