Neighbourhood Features
Beacon Hill is located west of Lion Rock, north of Kowloon Tong, Shek Kip Mei, and Tai Wo Ping, within the Lion Rock Country Park area, and is named for its resemblance to an ancient pen stand.
Due to its breathtaking views of the entire Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong Island, Lei Yue Mun, and Victoria Harbour, it has gradually developed into an upscale residential area. In addition to its scenic advantages, the area has low building density, ensuring good privacy for residents. The journey to the top of Beacon Hill is a popular hiking route, where residents can enjoy a serene green environment.
The nearby Shek Kip Mei Service Reservoir Playground is equipped with various sports facilities such as courts and jogging paths, providing ample recreational space for nearby residents. Apart from some housing estates with their own shopping malls, residents can also go to Shek Kip Mei to purchase daily necessities, which is only about a 10-minute minibus ride away.
In terms of transportation, there are dedicated minibus services from the Beacon Hill residential area to Kowloon Tong Station, as well as several bus routes to various parts of the New Territories. Many housing estates in the area also provide resident bus services.

Residential properties in the area are mainly concentrated from Cornwall Street to Lung Cheung Road, Nam Cheong Street, and Junction Road. The area from Cornwall Street to Lung Cheung Road has relatively dense residential buildings, including properties such as Arcadia Gardens, Cornwall Terrace, Delite Court, Ede Terrace, Evergreen Mansion, Hillsea Court, Le Chateau, Lockoo Gardens, Lung Cheung Villa, Luso Apartments, Mont Rouge, Mont Verra, Moonbeam Terrace, Mount Beacon, One Beacon Hill, Oxford Garden, The Hamptons, Villa Cornwall and Eden Gate.
The private residential buildings in the Nam Cheong Street area include Dynasty Heights and Beacon Heights, adjacent to the Lion Rock Country Park and surrounded by lush green mountain scenery. As for the residential estates in the Union Road area, there are Lung Cheung Court, Welcome Gardens, Alice Court, Phoenix Court, Jade Court, Merry Court, Peninsula Heights, Meridian Hill, The Palace, Happy Garden, Boland Court and Belmont Heights, among others. This area is close to the Hong Kong Baptist University, relatively closer to the Kowloon Tong city center, and the Junction Road Park, making it relatively convenient in terms of location.
