Neighbourhood Features
Repulse Bay is situated in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, nestled in a bay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It has been one of Hong Kong's traditional luxury residential areas since the construction of the Repulse Bay Hotel in 1920. The government later invested resources to develop the beach, leading to the completion of numerous low-density super luxury residences. The area boasts a beautiful environment, attracting many visitors from other districts, especially on holidays.
In addition to Repulse Bay Beach, Repulse Bay is home to another landmark, The Repulse Bay complex, which combines a club, shopping arcade, and hotel-style residences. The Pulse, the first bayside shopping mall in Hong Kong, offers a variety of restaurants and shops to meet the basic needs of Repulse Bay residents. In terms of transportation, there are several bus and minibus routes to the city center, connecting to Central or Causeway Bay.
