Neighbourhood Features
Hung Shui Kiu is located in the Yuen Long district of the New Territories. The development of private properties began in 1980, and in 2015, the first public housing estate, Hung Fuk Estate, was completed in the area. Since 2007, the government has implemented the Hung Shui Kiu New Development Area project, focusing on developing commercial and residential land to create employment opportunities.
The area provides essential living facilities and a diverse range of shopping and entertainment options. Residents can take the Light Rail to Tuen Mun or Yuen Long town, where major shopping malls and restaurants are abundant. In terms of transportation, the upcoming Hung Shui Kiu Station on the Tuen Ma Line of the MTR will further enhance connectivity for residents traveling to and from the city. Currently, there are multiple bus and minibus routes within the area, connecting residents to various districts in Hong Kong.
Residential Distribution
Residential developments are concentrated along both sides of the Castle Peak Road - Hung Shui Kiu, providing a relatively convenient geographical location. Private estates in this area include Trafalgar Gardens, Aster Court, Arnold Gardens, Bauhinia Garden, Beauty Court, Casa De Oro, Coronet Court, Jubilee Gardens, Lai Hung Garden, Parkview Garden, The Woodside and Treasure Court
