Hollywood Road is a historic street in Hong Kong that lies between Central and Sheung Wan. It showcases a unique blend of Chinese and Western cultures. Located in the Soho district, Hollywood Road is renowned for its diverse range of foreign-themed restaurants and bars, attracting both local foreigners and tourists. The eastern end of Hollywood Road connects to Lan Kwai Fong, and the former Central Police Station (now Tai Kwun) is also situated along this street. The Central-Mid-Levels Escalator, the world's longest covered outdoor escalator system, passes through Hollywood Road, linking Central and the Mid-Levels area. The famous Man Mo Temple can be found nearby, as well as the antique and nostalgia-filled Cat Street (also known as Upper Lascar Row). In addition to its historical buildings, Hollywood Road is home to numerous art galleries and antique shops. The presence of antique shops on Cat Street can be traced back over a hundred years when foreign merchants and sailors would sell the arts and crafts they acquired in China.
